Catwalking in a Psyche Wonderland!

I never thought that I'd have the opportunity to go to a catwalk, so of course when I got the opportunity to attend Psyche's winter fashion event on the 19th of November I leaped at the chance!

We rolled up early, as per, and strolled into the shop on a red carpet (I of course loved the celebrity concept!) Immediately we were gifted a complimentary glass of champagne: I mean, it would have been rude not to accept one!

Psyche was decorated as a Wonderland, that's for sure, although I'm sure it looks pretty amazing all year around. With glasses in hands, we were guided all the way up to the top floor - eyes wide all the way trying to take everything in! - to have a meet and greet with the models as they got ready for the night. They were all gorgeous girls, and some very nervous girls too. Talented makeup artist Bellissimi Beauty was attending to their every makeup need whilst their hair was teased and styled to perfection by Deep Hairdressing. They did a great job!

We took the waiting time as an opportunity to catch up with a few of our North-East Blogger friends and make new ones- have I mentioned how friendly our Blogging community is? We also spent time admiring the amazing displays that Psyche have!

Eventually the Catwalk began. The aim of the event was to display and provide inspiration for those all important Christmas parties - the ones we in the Dunn household usually get excited for, then get extremely stressed about when we can't find anything to wear and have noooooo idea what to take! (We usually settle for wine, you just can't go wrong with wine.)

Another aim of the event was to raise money and awareness for the Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation. It's a charity well worth looking into.

The stage was firstly invaded by little cuties, and the gorgeous photogenic Monty the dog.
