Weekly Pinspiration #1

Weekly Pinspiration #1

Pinterest is, in my opinion, vastly overlooked by mostly everyone nowadays. Classified as a "social media" it isn't as popular as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram - it's very likely that nearly everyone you see in the street has one of these accounts, if not all of them, but it's also quite likely that they won't have a Pinterest account either

What's confusing is why? Pinterest is a media which has everything on it! You name it, it has it. From fashion to photography, makeup to animals, home inspiration to history, the list goes on and on and on.

I have complied a list of nine of my favourite pins from this week, (24th - 30th October) a collage full of random things that appealed to me and made me think that they were Pin worthy.

Makeup Revolution: The Dead Are Alive Palette

Makeup Revolution: The Dead are Alive Palette

I'm not a fan of Halloween. Never have been, probably never will be. Now that there are "Killer Clowns" roaming around too, you've got to be on the worst kind of acid to venture out in the dark on the "scariest night of the year."

The best thing about Halloween though, much like any seasonal holiday -  if you can call dressing up as a slutty Harley Quinn (I guarantee 9/10 basic bitches will dress up as the DC Villain this year) or in the case of men, buying the scariest, most plastic smelling mask from Home Bargains, a seasonal holiday - is the limited edition makeup.

I hate Halloween, I love makeup. We reach a standstill.

I also really, really love the quality of cheap as chips Makeup Revolution eyeshadows, so when I saw they had two new palettes out, I grabbed my favourite, obvs.

Kiko Milano - Lock-In Haul

Kiko Milano - Lock-In Haul

Student lock-ins are dangerous affairs. A shopping center crammed with bloodthirsty students who have pocketfuls of cash from their Student loans, discounted brands spreading across from Topshop, Hollister, Levis to makeup stores - it's carnage.

It was my first thought as innocent me stepped into Eldon Square, Newcastle, on Tuesday 4th October. My second thought was to get to Kiko Milano ASAP. It was our first shop, and our first war zone.

Kiko Milano: Neo Noir Skin Modernist Foundation Review

Kiko Milano: Neo Noir Skin Modernist Foundation Review

Ah, foundation. The rest of my makeup wouldn't apply well without it, but Jesus, it's a bloody damn nightmare for us ghosts to find a good one - I'm talking about the people whose faces go translucent in selfies here.

The Kiko Milano Neo Noir Skin Modernist Foundation is a product which first caught my eye on Twitter, since I spend around 75% of my day on it LOL, so when I headed to a Student Lock-in (featured in my Kiko Milano haul) and saw it when I ventured into good old Newcastle Kiko, it was the first thing in my basket.

I got the palest shade Warm Rose 10 and gave it a good go...
