May in Senses

May was actually a pretty slow month, which is just as well with the way this year is flying before our eyes, and wasn't really the greatest month for me either - but it's surprising how well you can pick yourself up from a bad situation and move on quickly in the blink of an eye. 

I think that's a vital thing to learn. You dread moving on from something when in fact, you move on so fast it's unbelievable what you were even worried about. Life always goes on after crap things happen. You just can't prevent the inevitable no matter how hard you try.

Tutto suona meglio in italiano - aka, everything sounds better in Italian (or so Google Translate says).

When the country Italy comes to mind initial thoughts of ice cream, pastas and pizzas, romantic settings whilst snuggling in gondolas as the colourful buildings of Venice surround you - a cultural staple of the world, a leader in fashion, with a history so rich it's a historians wet dream.

Basically, Italy is fantastic. And a perfect theme for a My Little Box.

By daily makeup I don't mean work or college makeup where you headbutt your dressing table to apply everything because you're in that much of a mad rush. I'm talking about the weekend day makeup you can take your time applying, where you can really enjoy the art of makeup. Just to clear that up. Although I apologize if you work weekends and have to headbutt your makeup bag on a Saturday and Sunday too.
